Merry Tangerine

Seasons greeting lovelies! Am hoping you had a smashing Xmas and you looking forward to the new year? As for me, certainly I am and am hoping it would be yet another amazing year.

Today's post is a pretty short one. I was headed to two weddings and I really was in the mood to look dressy. Although I wasn't too sure if the look was more suitable for a red carpet event. Pls share your views.

By now am sure we all know Virgos lounge is a saver with dinner or evening wears. I found this piece very gorgeous and comfortable because of its eye catching color and neat contrasting blue embellishments. I also found the deep V back neck very flattering and gave the look more spice.

I went easy with the accessories. Wore a drop Fuschia jeweled earrings and had no necklace. Had a pretty loud makeup which is very weird but I guess I just decided to play with my eyeshadows..lol. Used a blue eyeshadow for the inner corner of my eyes and poped my lips with Macs Girl about town.

I needed a super high heels to make the dress more walkable in as the length was too long and flowy. Slipped on my nude court heels and complimented it with my blue celuite clutch to match the blue beads on the dress.

I had such a great blast at the wedding and I ate soo much and I feel super fat already. Hehehehe

Hope you enjoyed this post yet again, sorry for the picture quality....pls accept it with love and I shall be back to my comfort zone soon.

Fuschia Radiance {Birthday Edition}

Hello my sweechies! I am super duper excited with this post, just because its my BIRTHDAY EDITION! It was my birthday on Friday the 20th and I had such an amazing and fun day with friends and family. This post is a gist post! Lol....I would gist you how I spent my day. The gist would be in a reversed format as I have pictures to justify how the night played out. During the day, I had a pampering session...hair and nails done then for a spa session booked from my adorable friend where I got a Swedish massage at B naturals Spa for 45mins. It was absolutely relaxing and soothing.

The night jetted off with a hang out session at Shaunz bar in Victoria Island (ou! Did I forget to say am in Nigeria and I am having a blast soo far). It's actually a karaoke bar; I totally loved the ambience but trust naija people, we love to groove so it was a full house! Although, I was lucky enough to have made a reservation earlier in a nice corner for my few guest. Honestly, when I got there at first, I wasn't feeling it soo much as the karaoke was on and people's squawky voices was a pain....lol! Mehn musicians are blessed you know, I heard all sort of voice that night which cracked me up and they were all feeling like Celine  dion.

Since i was going to a bar, I wanted a very chilled outfit that would look classy and not too overpowering but still with a birthday girls look! I went for a very simple Fuchsia pink jumpsuit. The color was the main thing for me but I thought it was extremely simple so I decided to make it fun with how I rocked it. Do you think it wasn't a bad look for a celebrant?

I decided to color block to have a yummy look as I intended! I color blocked with royal blue and gold high lights. I was super excited when I got this pair of shoes as a gift from a very special person and it just made my choice of heels easier in putting the whole look together.

In complimenting the look, I decided to match it up with a blue lucite clutch. This clutch I love because of its simplicity and the transparent effect. It's also a very good size, can fit all necessities.

Since the jumpsuit was pretty simple, I decided to enhance it more with a gold mirrored belt. I also wanted to go all out with my necklace to make the look very dressy.

So back to gist! Then the grooving started! Shaunz bars dj was off the hook! I quickly got up and started whining my tiny waist! I din't even bother with drinking as I was already hyper.

Then my cakes! Omg! I had way tooo many cakes. My family and friends kept surprising me with them. I say a huge thank you to everyone again via this medium. It was soo exciting that people made me feel special. I truly have awesome friends.

I also had cupcakes, but it all couldn't fit! They all tasted yummy! That red velvet cake was magical am weary for my weight in this country, tooo much food all round.

Ok guys won't want to bore you any longer so am going to wrap it up now! After Shaunz bar we headed to Sip club where we turnt up even more. Although it was madness to get in but it was worth it and we partied real hard! Except I dint like that people are allowed to smoke in there. I recommend this club to every one on holiday in Nigeria.

I hope you enjoyed this edition. Please stay tuned as always and I apologize for picture quality and general editing.

Fuschia yum yum...

Hey sweeties! I am very very very sorry for going MIA for long days! Honestly, the Internet in Nigeria has successfully frustrated me for days. I promise this is going to be improved real soon. Am also sorry for the usual weekly "Swishpiration" which wasn't featured this week and last.

I hope today's post really makes you pardon me *battling eyelashes*. It's indeed a yummy post especially because of the color. Am such a color junkie!

This rich fuschia midi pencil dress is soo figure flattering and the crotchet design by the bust to neck area makes it even more lovable. Like the love I had for this dress wasn't enough, it had a mini side slit which is my favorite current fashion trend. I must confess the fabric is not one of my favorite as its scuba but I was still very well pleased with the style, length and fit.

I wore a pair of black court heels. Honestly this pair of shoes I find very gorgeous and comfortable. The ankle strap also gives it a chic look and makes it look cuter than the price....lol. I complimented the look with a black and gold beaded clutch.

I went for black and gold accessories. I thought it was a good way to bring out the fuschia color more with the dark contrast.

Wonder why my mouth looks that way...pls ignore.....lol

And this is almost the favorite part of the dress. The deep low back cut.... I really thought this dress was a bit tooo fitted for a wedding as that was the occasion I attended. What's your take on that lovelies?

Honestly I have stopped squatting but it seems to be growing *coversface*....

I hope this post was as yummy as I claimed. If you found it yummy, please visit back again for even more yummy post.....thanks hunnies.

Blue reign...

Good good morning beautiful people! Happy new month aswel! I hope you had a smashing weekend? Mine was quite chilled....this is a real quick post to give your monday morning an amazing zoom! Hope it does...
You know I love to keep Mondays quite corporate but yet chic for a smashing work look! This is how it played out this monday....

Am pretty sure by now you know am a color junkie, I found the black on the jacket quite dull so I decided to give the outfit a kick with the blue skirt. Wore an animal print peplum jacket and a black ankled court heels to matte with the jacket.
